"Have you seen Raffles, my long lost love? I should have just heeded Farquhar's advice.. Oh no!"

That was the first thing that caught our ears as the lady continued to mumble and cry. We were shocked! Was this someone’s idea of a practical joke? We decided to ask her ourselves.

She was Sleeping Rella (what a weird name..) and apparently, she was a friend of William Farquhar and was looking for Stamford Raffles!

Out of curiosity, we asked her whether she knew where Fullerton Square or Boat Quay were and her answer totally ka-boomed us!

"You mean you people are not aware of these places? How is that possible?! I witnessed quite a couple of incidents myself at Boat Quay like the dealings of the Gambier and Pepper Society!" Sleeping Rella exclaimed with a bemused look.

Suddenly, she got all flustered and was looking very worried again! "Why am I wasting my time here? Where's Raffles? Oh Raffles..."
